We don't like leaving bad reviews, but here, we are mixed. The pros: We liked the beauty of the place. The residence is magnificent, wooded, close to many tourist sites, off-center so quiet. The pool was clean. No issues with the kitchen utensils, everything was there. We found the residence easily. The establishment is aging but keeps its charm. The lady at the front desk kindly set up a high chair for us (free of charge). The residence is pedestrian-only, which is pleasant. The snack bar, the prices are very affordable. The cons: Two people at the front desk, one is smiling and attentive, the other person is not pleasant at all. We were in B25. It was a disaster in terms of cleaning, mold very present in the bathroom (for info La***x 5 in 1 works very well on mold and it costs less than $2). Mold on the stairs too, full of spider webs. So we had to do some cleaning, a good cleaning. The walls were dirty, the curtains torn, the TV didn't work, a dead bug in the trash can upon arrival. That was a lot, though. The next day, we asked to change accommodations AND house category for a larger one (paying the difference, of course); it was a real struggle, the person at the front desk was downright annoyed and against our request, she directed us to the reservation center to make the change. They told us that on-site, she could carry out this process. So we called the front desk back, we learned that not all houses are equipped with AC and that if we wanted to change accommodations, it was at our own risk and we could lose the AC. That shocked us. The front desk was supposed to call the center to find out how to carry out the accommodation change. That discouraged us. We gave up. In hindsight, we would have been better off never asking for anything. But this is not normal! Ultimately, the B25 is much cleaner, so that's good for those who will follow us. The condition the house was in is not normal, the attitude at the front desk is not normal. The goal is, after all, to have a good stay. Right? Everyone's satisfaction is important. It's a shame. PS: move-in inspections should be implemented to avoid this kind of disaster. As previous reviews indicate.

Accommodation was super dirty and unsanitary! The ventilation system does not work and the equipment is dilapidated and dirty. No air conditioning, abominable heat in the house, only one tiny fan for the whole house. The bedding was a nightmare... and undersized. No bath mat in the bathroom, not a single dish towel in the kitchen... a smell of dampness permeates the accommodation. No mosquito net and no way to leave the shutters ajar... As for parking, we had to drive around for hours one evening to find a spot even though we were paying for it... not to mention that the parking lot is far from the accommodation, so you have to haul all the suitcases and walk through the aisles. We had booked for a week and left after only 4 days, so disappointed with this place. Clearly, the only positive point of this stay was the pool, which remained clean despite everything, and the snack bar... the staff is very welcoming and smiling, the crepes are very good, and the prices are affordable. The welcome provided by the receptionist was also top-notch.
