Simply pathetic Hygiene is not up to par. Hallway carpets are dirty and smell bad. Our bathroom door had a hole with no lock!! and the food is appalling Metro in all its splendor. One waiter in particular actually had a very dirty uniform.. really everything to never go back there again. So where is the Accor group?? there is really nothing prestigious about this group anymore.

On arrival it was 41 degrees outside, but we were kindly received by the staff. Our room was already cooled by the air conditioning, delicious and fine service. The room itself was neat and had enough space to stay normally. Bathroom was also neat. However, we had the misfortune that there was a power failure, which has been present throughout our stay. Which caused everything to shut down and the night to get pretty hot. The next morning, a breakfast buffet was provisionally prepared, with a coffee machine connected to the batteries of a coach. Inventive, though. In the end, we were not able to use everything. Even if it hadn't been for the power outage, I think the price for what was offered is very high.

The height of disappointment: hallways, restaurant area not cleaned (floors and windows), dirty doors and bathroom fixtures in the room, empty minibar, no water available either in the room or in the hallway despite the heatwave, "ghost" staff at the bar and in the breakfast area that we have to seek out, sticky small bar table, wobbly armchair, basic breakfast, cafeteria-style restaurant with no choices. No information was provided to us at the reception (wifi, car charging station, pool operation...) nor in the room (no written information such as restaurant menu, hours...). The great resourcefulness!!! This hotel has only the name and price of Mercure! A serious review of the stars awarded is essential for the reputation of Mercure hotels. Fortunately, some raise the standard brilliantly (Mercure Montmartre, Lyon Lafayette).
