Natura Resort - Pescalis

The cottage was clean and in good condition, not overlooked as in many campsites. The quiet was very nice. The pool is nice but a little small when crowded. The staff is attentive and responsive. The place is very nice and relaxing.

Stopped here for a four day break from touring France, and of course for the fishing. My better half had booked it, clearly with me in mind, but neither of us was disappointed. I suspect timing is everything, we went just as the main holiday season came to an end, kids all back at school, as a result some of what's on offer - wasn't. But to be honest we enjoyed the peace and quiet! Accommodation was more than adequate for our needs, clean, comfortable,fully equipped for self catering and in good condition. Swimming pool looked like it was a recent build and we enjoyed having it to ourselves all but one afternoon when a few others joined us. Small town facilities, supermarket, other shops and restaurant were available a couple of minutes up the road. All in all nothing I can fault, to the extent I'm seriously looking to go back next year, again out of the high season. Oh - and the fishing was great!!!

If you like fishing, & don't mind roughing it in sparse accommodation this is for you. However, we had informed these people in advance that in our party of 6 we had one person in a wheelchair. On arrival we got the upstairs cabin! After quite a difficult discussion with the site manager, all 6 of us decamped into our daughters ground floor cabin, using the mattresses from upstairs. We had to beg clean blankets & sheets which we eventually got. This was a difficult 2 night stay for us en-route to the Roscoff Ferry from the south of France. The children did enjoy the cold swim pool. Overall none of us would return here, but I'm sure the anglers love it.
