We came to spend a 3-day weekend, from August 7 to 9, in Saint-Gilles. For me, booking an Ibis Styles hotel is usually a safe bet. Unfortunately, this time, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room, in the middle of the season, really disappointed us. The bathroom had been cleaned very superficially: hair and fur everywhere on the floor, in the shower, behind the sink faucet, and even on the walls. The shower grout was also very yellow. In the room, we noticed large black marks on the walls at the entrance as well as numerous spiderwebs on the ceiling. The balcony table was all sticky, clearly because a drink had been spilled by the previous guest. I told myself that all this would be made up for when housekeeping came by the next day… but what a bad surprise when returning in the evening: our room had simply been forgotten. I reported it to the front desk and, to compensate for this oversight, I was at least given two small extra towels. It is really a shame, because for the price paid in peak season, one still expects a minimum of cleanliness and maintenance. I would, however, like to highlight the positive points: the hotel is very pleasant, very well located, the services offered are really appreciable, especially the pool and the activities, and above all the breakfast, which we found truly excellent. It is therefore a beautiful establishment with many assets, but the maintenance and upkeep of the rooms are clearly in need of improvement.

A very good night in a family room, very clean room, very, very good welcome, good breakfast with lots of choices, and we also enjoyed the pool with the kids. Thank you 😊

Friendly and efficient team A director who listens to his clients. Very very human. This Christmas season some chocolates at our disposal is very nice.
