Hotel d'Angleterre

Nice little hotel considering the price, which is not excessive. Small room but unfortunately a lot of sand on the floor upon arrival! No change of my towel which was dirty despite having placed it in the shower. Horrible noise at night (room facing the street); do not hope to be able to leave a window open despite the sweltering heat in the room at night despite the fan. A nightmare. Sale of cold drinks at the reception is great. Breakfast staff very friendly. Breakfast decent and simple and fresh bread; considering the low price, normal. Parking reservation via the hotel is great, 15 euros per night. Decent welcome. Body wash empty.

I had booked a room for 4 nights. The welcome, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff made my stay in Les Sables-d'Olonne very pleasant. The hotel's location is easy to access (a few minutes' walk from the train station) and very convenient because it is a few minutes from the ocean, shops, and restaurants, and it is also located across from the harbor (the sidewalk across the street) and therefore the water shuttles. The room I had was clean and functional. It is convenient to have a fan provided in the heat. The room has mechanical shutters. The double bed was comfortable; you sleep well in it. Housekeeping is done upon request, as is the changing of the bath towels provided. Breakfast (€8 per day to be paid on-site) is served to you at the table every day from 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. It is quite substantial. It was a very good experience.

Small, well-located hotel. The rooms are clean and the bedding is good. The bathroom needs a refresh, especially the bathtub, which has a damaged bottom. The staff is welcoming and the breakfast service is very friendly. The harbor-view rooms are quite noisy due to the nearby bars.
