Chateau De La Verie

Back at the Château de la Vérie, adorned with a setting of greenery and some lovely floral notes. The deer were indeed present, frolicking under the windows, and beautiful, majestic storks found refuge in its heights. We received a warm welcome, impeccable service, in prestigious rooms that were meticulously prepared and cared for. The breakfast was fit for princes, and in the majestic lounge, with its impressive period chandelier and museum-worthy paintings, there was an ambiance of the most refined classical music, all on the wonderful terrace overlooking the magnificent park during this beautiful season. What can be said about the pool, 'the cherry on the cake,' as the saying goes: a true marvel! A big thank you especially to Patricia for her thoughtful and professional attentions:

We just spent four days at this hotel, conveniently located near Saint-Jean-de-Monts, in Challans, and our stay was overall very pleasant. Despite a few drawbacks — a recurring ultrasound noise that is difficult to locate and the need for some refreshments (painting of room doors, switches, hairdryer and carpeting in some rooms) — the hotel immediately seduces with the quality of its renovation, carried out with great taste and care. The decoration is remarkable: the paintings, curtains and light fixtures are splendid, worthy of a museum. The lounges invite you to relax in an elegant and warm atmosphere. The breakfast table is simply sumptuous, offering a privileged moment each morning. The park, meticulously wooded, is a real green setting. It offers a spectacular panorama, sublimated by the daily presence of three fawns that go peacefully there — a bucolic spectacle that contributes to the singular charm of the place. After four days on site, we remember above all the soothing atmosphere, the care taken with the aesthetics and the exceptional setting. With some technical improvements, the experience could become absolutely perfect. We strongly advise, and we will be happy to come back!

Very beautiful castle, the owners are welcoming. The place is quiet and majestic. Breakfast overlooking the park with bonus squirrel fawn or deer.
