P&V Village Club Port-Bourgenay

Maeva residence. Beautiful setting near the port. The apartment was dirty upon our arrival (floor, dust, fridge, dishwasher...) forced to redo the cleaning. Extreme temperature in the apartment with no AC or fan. The residence could be magnificent if it were maintained... A renovation is necessary. Too bad. The resort is small and the beach is average (seaweed, rocks...). My rating is justified by the effort of the Maeva staff to address the issues: cleaning offered for the end of the stay, repair of a door, and the loan of their office fan for the last 2 nights. Otherwise it would have been a 2 out of 5

The accommodation was perfect for a family. For 4 friends, it was less ideal because the 2 rooms are very different. One is nice, quite large and overlooks the garden, the other is tiny and overlooks the path. We would have preferred more similar rooms. The rest was nice (although the kitchen is tiny as well, we could really only fit 1 person in there). The bathroom was acceptable; however, a tiny bar of soap/shampoo for everyone is a bit excessive. I am all for saving money for the planet, but this is too much! Washing myself with the same soap (for body and head) as my friends was limiting in terms of hygiene! Fortunately, we chose the renovated cottage for 6 people; otherwise, what a nap it would have been! For the price, we expect better services. On the other hand, the staff was charming and very accommodating.

A truly beautiful residence. Well located, 15 minutes on foot from the aquatic center and village, but this is not a problem as the park is beautiful and well-maintained. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and well-decorated. The only downside, as mentioned, is the beautiful pool that opens on June 1st, while the exceptional temperatures really make you want to take a dip.
