Very good hotel, used to Pierre et Vacances residences I was not disappointed and was surprised by the large size of the studio for 4 people. The accommodation was very clean when we arrived and we returned it as is. It had a small balcony, ideal for morning coffee, the Murphy bed didn't squeak, and there was no noise at night. Despite the almost dubious location, overlooking the public toilets, the street was quite quiet, located a stone's throw from the beach. A warm billiards area at reception and a departure at 10 a.m., quite early after a festive but reasonable week. In addition, I recommend and will not hesitate to go there for my next vacation. Residence in need of a good refresh. Good points : * good location near the center, a few minutes from a bakery, next to the sea. *The accommodation is well thought out, correct equipment. * sea view from the small balcony (partial) * common room with small house, table football, books available as well as sand toys. negative points : *paid parking, nevertheless recommended because otherwise you have to park in the car park right next door but it is an operation with a parking meter which is therefore tedious and financially more expensive. * cleaning, dirty in several places, especially the bathroom, the shelves and all the ventilation grilles, a shame! * the horrible bedding, a dirty sofa, to unfold with a sloping mattress, which squeaks, squeaks and gives back pain.

Stayed at Pierre et Vacancies appart hotel La Baie Les Sables d'Olonne. Travelled by train from UK and arrived after reception closed but our keys were in a wall safe with a digicode sent to us on our fone days before. The hotel is very good value for money and only one street from the beach. A short walk to a supermarket and an open market. Also a 10 minute walk into town. An undiscovered gem for British people. Going again. ps reception staff are friendly and helpful
