Hotel Au Chapon Fin

The reception was not very friendly, the parking spaces are very small, and it is very complicated to park…. The rooms are dilapidated… barely clean, you cannot open all the windows… when there is a heatwave…. Only one tiny fan per room…. A stifling heat!!!!! The square where the hotel is located is extremely noisy with a bar right underneath…. An enormous amount of noise until 5 a.m.!!! You have to choose between silence and heat!! We had a horrible night!!!!! What a shame the hotel is well located…..

Very central and reasonable price. There is secure parking at the rear for a charge, (they even charged us to leave bikes in the car park... cycling holiday). Rooms were okay and ours had a view of the main Square. We had breakfast at a coffee house across the Square which was better than what the hotel had to offer.

Although located downtown, it is disappointing to see the room half made (dirty towel, still ball in the room shelf, more shower gel,..). Nevertheless it is spacious, rather clean and there is a balcony in the single room which I did not expect. Goudises are offered (tea, soluble coffee, ..) in the room. The room being damaged (bath completely detached from the joints, stained sheets, door going to the terrace hard to open almost blocked, ..) the rating of 3 seems correct to me. I recommend considering the price and location. Monoprice, cinema, bus stops,.. are less than 5min walk.
