Le Parc des Marechaux

We had a very pleasant stay at this charming, traditional-style hotel in Auxerre. Our ground-floor room faced the garden and was spacious, clean and comfortable, with direct access to the garden and its seating area - this was a nice feature. Perhaps a little more wardrobe space and a bin would have added more useful elements to the room but these are just minor points. There was plenty of free parking, and the air conditioning was very welcome during the hot weather. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was fairly limited but perfectly adequate. Overall, a charming hotel in a peaceful setting, and we would be happy to stay again.

Consistent value for money. Beautiful pool. But above all, very pleasant staff.

Personalized and friendly welcome. The facilities, even though there is a pool, deserve a good refresh. Breakfast is decent without any extra frills. Large secure parking lot for guests' cars.
