Hotel zur Fluh

I have never experienced a hotel where the price / performance ratio was so wrong. Room was clean but so cold that I slept with socks, tracksuit pants, sweater and hat. If you can even call that sleeping when you're still freezing. Although the TV was available, the radio channels even worked, unlike the TV program. In the shower there was a heater that I turned up first on my arrival, However, the hoped-for effect (a warm bath) was not achieved. In the shower it had mold to which I am quite allergic. And now for breakfast. Bookable for 12:50€. I don't want to say many words about this, just so much of the room is also very fresh. Only with a shirt is it really borderline. Hence the pictures. There's no privacy either. Since staff are not really present, almost everything is monitored with video cameras. However, the legally mandatory notice under GDPR is missing. Conclusion: I've been to hundreds of hotels on business, I've never seen anything like it. I will complain about e-mail, because here I can not unload my displeasure, because there is no one there. Recommendation on my part. Take a big bow around the hotel. Because especially the pictures on the homepage and also text passages from them do not correspond to the situation on site.

We stayed here on our bike tour through the Southern Black Forest. The reception is staffed late in the afternoon, you will receive an access code to the booked room by email, which requires a certain input clocking to function. An elderly couple in the house had enormous difficulties with this and got help after a telephone request about 1 hour. The rooms were clean, had the charm of the 70s. Breakfast in the morning met the minimum requirements but could not convince us as empty plates and baskets were not refilled quickly enough. Overall no repeat recommendation !

Interior partly obsolete, heating could not be turned off, check-in very difficult because there are no staff and if you enter the code too slowly.... done! Then you start all over again with the whole procedure.
