Gasthaus Loffelschmiede

We have been staying at the Alemannen hof which is very pleasant (and expensive) but the food and service is average. We chose to take the short drive to this place and wow what a difference. Service with a smile and the food was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend. 5•

This is a well maintained and professionally run hotel in a beautiful region. It's in a nice secluded location that overlooks a little horse farm across the road. Yet it is near enough to cool places to visit. The hotel manager Thomas is extremely accommodating. He helped us to coordinate a visit with my father, my future brother-in-law, and my fiance which was no small task. The food in the hotel was excellent - wonderful breakfast, hearty dinner, great bar. If you want to feel like you are being well looked after, this is the place. I am so grateful for a wonderful stay and will be back.

My wife and I stayed there for one night. The location offers great views. The establishment itself is professionally run with fat service, excellent cuisine/ value for the money. Restaurant and sun terraces to the left and right, huge breakfast area with an immense breakfast buffet and an extensive menu for lunch and dinner as well as snacks. Our room was generously laid out, featured a large bathroom and plenty of space for luggage and to hang out. Room rates for what you get are very reasonable. So get ready to book and enjoy Schwarzwald hospitality at its best. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
