Colombi

We always enjoy coming back to Hotel Colombi in Freiburg. The hospitality, the first-class service, and the high professionalism of the entire team are impressive every single time. Stylish rooms, excellent cuisine, and the elegant atmosphere make every stay special. It is remarkable that the hotel has consistently offered the highest quality for years. For us, Hotel Colombi is one of the best establishments in Germany. An unqualified recommendation and, of course, five out of five stars!

Freiburg was fully booked, so we ended up at the Colombi. Friendly welcome and top service with unloading and parking the car. The hotel is a bit labyrinthine; we were accommodated in the annex. Furnishings of the entire hotel are very classic, in some places a bit old-fashioned. A bit worn here and there; in our room, there was a hole in the tabletop above the minibar, I suspect there used to be a TV there, that could be done better at this price. The food was good, the service very good, the breakfast was also very good, everything here was also very classic; you even had to confirm with a signature that you had breakfast.

A wonderful 5 star hotel, charming and very elegant. Wonderful rooms, excellent gourmet restaurant (s), a cozy and elegant bar, swimming pool and gym. Location is perfect, minutes from the famous Freiburger Muenster and Town Hall. One of my top three hotels in Europe!
