Good location in the Black Forest. The hotel is very nice. We spent 3 days relaxing half board with junior suite overlooking the lake. Beautiful 🤩 Full breakfast and very good. Evening meals are varied and of high quality. However, expect to eat soup at every meal, it's typical!! Thanks to the restaurant staff for allowing us to dine on the terrace in the evening (which is not planned at the base). Great choice of hiking and cycling from the hotel. Medium sized swimming pool but very pleasant in these heatwave times. Relaxation area by the pond very nice.

This hotel is highly recommended! We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, thanks in part to the cheerful and helpful staff. Our suite was spacious and cosy, with comfortable armchairs and a private balcony with sunbed – perfect for relaxing. We had booked half board, so every morning we started with a rich breakfast full of fresh produce.In the evening we enjoyed a surprising 4-course menu, where we could choose from four different main courses. Often these were typical regional dishes, a tasty discovery for the taste buds! The area around the hotel offers endless possibilities: beautiful hiking trails, quaint villages with half-timbered houses and beautiful car routes through nature. In short: this fantastic hotel with swimming pool and numerous wellness facilities is the perfect base to fully enjoy the beautiful Black Forest.

A great stay from start to finish! The hotel setting is enchanting and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant; the cuisine is truly flawless. The biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. A huge thank you to Vanessa for her extremely warm welcome (she is great!), as well as to the entire service team who were smiling and very attentive. A very special mention also to the spa aesthetician who gave us a perfect massage just before our departure. Even if the budget is a bit substantial, the overall experience and the beauty of the stay are really worth the cost. An establishment that we highly recommend and we plan to return!
