Schoenbergerhof

This hotel is excellently located, on the river-side, with the old town behind it, and surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants. For this reason it only serves breakfast - charged separately. Either a small plate, or access to the full (very good) buffet - the choice is yours. The reception staff were excellent - suggesting places to eat and drink, and ordering a taxi for us to go to the station (which in Heidelberg is well away from the old city).

Beautifully decorated hotel, a little tired in parts but a beautiful clen room - and good value with our very late booking. Close to all resaturanst etc - 5-10 minutes walk, yet nice quiet location. Nice frienly staff and nice buffet breakfast.

A very old hotel, where everything was very old: furniture, carpet, bath, everything!!! Breakfast very poor, with few options, and those of questionable quality. Rooms are noisy, I do hear people from other rooms or residents in neighboring scale. Although I made a reservation Park January, when I arrived (in July) were not parking
