Impersonal hotel, via a lift on the street you need to know how to get in there. Impersonal welcome. In the room no air conditioning and outside temperature 31 degrees. Windows had to be closed all night because of the night noise until early in the morning! The description stated that water was provided in the room and contents of the minibar were free, result: no water and 1 bottle of Coke for 2 people. City Movie hotel, at least you can have 1 unpaid movie chosen via Netflix. Overnight stay with breakfast 158 euros is then very expensive! Expected something different, a disappointment and not recommended. So misleading explanations on site.

For value and location, this place could be a five - except there’s lots of city noise, including trains. You can hardly beat the price though - three nights for $273 including a very nice breakfast. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, and the elevator opens right on the street. If you are driving and using GPS to find the hotel, there’s no parking in front of the hotel. Take one of the streets on either end of the block to the Akademiestrasse Garage (Saturn) behind the hotel. The hotel will validate your parking for a better rate - making it very reasonable and inexpensive. From the hotel, you have great access to restaurants and entertainment.
