Hotel Bella Vista

Clean little hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very small: a bed, a chair, and a tiny corner table. Sleeping is hardly possible here; the room (No. 11) was in the entrance area, and since the reception is only staffed until the afternoon, guests come in with an electronic key, and that is unfortunately quite loud. Unfortunately, the noise at the reception starts just before 6 a.m., as the breakfast staff apparently also has work to do at the reception. You can hear every sheet of paper being torn... In the bathroom, getting ready is hardly possible; it is very, very small. When you sit on the toilet, you hit your knees under the sink, so it is not for people over 175 cm. We were there for three nights and paid 360 euros per person! For this price range, I expected something different! The breakfast is manageable, but okay. I know better than that from other hotels for 120 euros a night. The only good thing is the location; the car ferry is about a 3-minute walk away, and so is the bus stop.

Never again! Very poor treatment at the reception.

A lovely small hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, 4 km from the center. Great bus connections every 15 minutes in and out of the center, free with the guest card and absolutely stress-free compared to driving. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and sufficient, everything one would expect is available. Extremely nice owner and staff, rooms clean and adequately equipped.
