Steigenberger Inselhotel

A small downside, the requested room that we have every year was not available despite assurances. However, everything was done to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Many thanks to the crew at the reception as well as in the restaurant and room service. A highly recommended hotel, we would love to come back.

We feel very comfortable in the hotel! This time we unfortunately had to change rooms 2 times. ( Odor issues ) The staff handled the problem very professionally and was very helpful. Otherwise the food is very good, the Black Forest cake is the best in the world. Again and again!

We spend our vacation regularly in the Lake Constance region and for a few years now we have also always planned a few nights at the Steigenberger. The property has a dreamlike location and the rooms - especially those with a lake view - are beautiful. A breakfast with this view or an evening on the lake terrace are suitable for creating unforgettable moments that we can still draw on for a very long time back in everyday life. That is also why we are willing to pay the now very high prices, but we then also have the expectation of an untroubled stay. Unfortunately, that only worked to a limited extent this year. Mainly, it was the housekeeping that did not function smoothly, which caused annoyance and made regular visits to the reception necessary. Also at breakfast, there were things that, quite in contrast to our previous visits, could not really satisfy. In our perception, it is individual employees who somehow do their job quite listlessly and unmotivatedly, doing just the bare minimum, and through this lack of commitment, ruin the overall impression. In contrast, there is a multitude of employees in all areas who work exactly against this and want to convey the spirit of the Steigenberger with a great deal of passion. Representing all these people who give their best in their area every day, we would like to thank Kati Pusch and Lukas Breitling by name, who solve problems professionally and pragmatically at the front desk in their own very attentive way and thus give us a feeling of being welcome. And that is exactly why we will come back and extend our next vacation on Lake Constance by a few days on the island again. We look forward to seeing you again.
