Hotel located 2 km from the train station, you can get closer with the tram (stop 400m away). Very quiet neighborhood, quick and friendly welcome. Close to pedestrian streets. Very clean and well-equipped room, effective and quiet air conditioning. Breakfast not tested. Restaurants on the street between blocks G7 and H7, a quiet, clean, and very good place, especially the Uyghur restaurant. It is possible to reach Heidelberg by train or tram line 5 from Marktplatz, the same price of 8.10 euros per trip; the advantage of the tram is that it arrives at Bismarckplatz at the entrance of the old town. (The Hbf station is somewhat out of the way.)

Overall, it was a good stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the service in the breakfast room should also be mentioned. The underground parking is expensive, but the value for money is still good. The flooring in the hallways has some holes, and in room 216, there are stains on the floor from previous guests. We missed having a minibar given the current temperatures; the air conditioning was easily adjustable. In the response from the hotel management, it always states: Due to structural conditions, a minibar unfortunately cannot be offered. There is enough space under the "desk." For the luggage, there is only a small, foldable holder available. We found it bad that there is no type of wardrobe. Sure, there is a niche with hangers, but where to put underwear, sweaters, socks, etc. The view of the lavender garden with the nymph parakeets was very beautiful. The room has everything one needs, a small bathroom, but it is fine. The room size is also okay. Cleanliness is good.

Very good city hotel for the price. Check-in and staff were very nice. Unfortunately, that is often not the case with large chains anymore. For that, thumbs up. Room spacious. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. Not good: the transparent bathroom door! As a woman, I wonder what architects are thinking... a fetish?? I do not think that is good! The surroundings of the hotel are not great, rather a bit noisy and dirty. The carpet in the room is really not acceptable, and a refrigerator would be good. All in all, it was great and I would book again.
