Achat Premium Hotel Walldorf

For a transit hotel with not too high expectations fine. We had 2 rooms of which 1 was refurbished and the other was not. Rooms were warm and noisy, beds though fine. The hotel looks a little soulless. Exterior peeled, large stains in the carpet, large empty spaces without decoration. It's had its day. Restaurant is closed and so is the bar, the hotel only offers breakfast nothing else. In short passing ok but I wouldn't do it any longer.

Unfortunately, we have to report a very disappointing experience at Hotel Reilingen Walddorf Achat. There were three of us there and there were a number of problems that made our stay very uncomfortable. First of all, there were complications with the payment system on arrival. It was not possible to pay separately, presumably due to an outdated system. Even after several attempts and a lot of patience, this could not be changed. Another annoyance was that our room was not cleaned once in the first two days, even though we had hung the “Please Clean” sign. This is incomprehensible in itself, but we dismissed it as a small matter until the bigger problem arose. The real, serious problem, however, was a system error that caused one of us to stop coming to the hotel because her card was not working. This incident occurred late in the evening and led to her not finally entering the hotel until 1:30 a.m. after a long day without the possibility of getting into the room. This was particularly frightening as there was no front desk staff and the emergency number provided was not available. She had to wait outside alone at night until another hotel guest came and let her in, leading to an enormous panic attack. As young women, they felt in a really dangerous and helpless situation. The next morning we raised the issue at reception and the only thing we got to hear was: “That was just a system error, that can happen.” There was no willingness to make up for it or even show a little understanding. Only a new card was issued and we were assured that they would “inquire” why the mistake happened. Unfortunately, this did not change our friend's traumatic experience. In summary, we can say that we have never experienced anything like this before and it felt in no way respected as guests. For us, this was an absolutely unbearable incident and we cannot recommend this place under any circumstances.

Comfortable, clean and quiet, with a short walk we went to dinner at the Greek restaurant. Very comfortable bed..!
