Mercure Sindelfingen Messe

We always sleep on this by traveling to our holiday in Austria. We are always satisfied, nice shopping center nearby and good food in the restaurant. Nice pool for the kids and good hot sauna. The rooms are nice. It's hot in the hotel though. Parking should be free for guests costs 14,- Euro.

A completely positive hotel experience. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the hygiene is top! The whole staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! For us, the Mercure Hotel has been the first address in Sindelfingen for years! Thank you so much!

Mixed opinion about our night. We had two bedrooms. One smelled like a cigarette and the other had been badly cleaned. I will not mention the details here, but it was reported to the reception, which reacted correctly. On the day of departure, one of the two rooms has already been cleaned and prepared for the following guests, while we were at breakfast. We had already emptied the belongings of this room to gather them in our 2nd room, but it was 9:30 am, and the check-out (possible until 12 noon) had not yet been done. We didn’t enjoy the bedding too much (uncomfortable pillows and mattresses, queen size bed 160x200, whereas usually in 4* it’s minimum 180x200). But this is a more personal criticism... difficult to please everyone. It was very quiet, despite the hotel’s location on busy roads/highways. Another negative: the air conditioning not very efficient... I would have preferred to give the rating of 3.5 but that is not possible. A rating of 3 was too high despite the concerns listed above. I therefore gave a rating of 4 given the positive advantages of the hotel: - good location, easy to access (except currently because of the work on the nearby highway, but the hotel is not responsible) - pool and sauna very nice (open from 7am to 11pm!!) - large rooms and quite modern - excellent breakfast - large car park (extra charge)
