Airport Hotel 33 Echterdingen STUTTGART-MESSE

I stayed for two nights in this “hotel” to visit the city with some friends. The rooms are more or less clean but the gruesome aspect of staying in the structure was the total absence of professionalism and education of the staff. During breakfast on the day of check out an employee showed up at our table while we were having breakfast and loudly railed against us complaining about how much we had eaten the day before, even uttering insults in German. A behavior that has left us stunned both for the manner and for the unmotivated animosity expressed by this employee. After visiting so many hotels, this is the first time that something like this has happened to me. I advise the Director of the facility to review the choice of staff in contact with the public. I absolutely do not recommend this structure because such an attitude denotes a latent resentment towards Italians because it seems to me the only plausible reason for such behavior

When I arrived on sight finding parking was quite difficult had to do a few U-Turns just to find it. When I did find it and got to the hotel I knew that this place wasn’t going to be good when there is a Tobacco dispenser outside the hotel. Walls and floors are absolutely thin, slightest of movements can be heard. Lots of screaming, during the night, doors being slammed even though there are reminders to be gentle around the building. The bathroom/shower door needs lubrication. It squeaks LOUDLY and when not caught it’ll slam causing automatic disturbance to others around you. My room was kicked in the past. Instead of replacing and repairing properly they used cheap foam to fill it. Smoke alarm has also been disabled in my room which poses a risk. One final negative I want to add is that I think my room use to be a toilet??? Idk I get the impression it used to be based on the sink and toilet paper holder. Breakfast is decent. Even for a budget stay this place is shocking. I’ve been to cheaper spaces than here and they do soo much better!

Maybe I should have just read the reviews here in advance, would have saved me unnecessary stress. Were actually going to arrive in 2h, but were just informed by phone that our booking was automatically cancelled due to "problems with credit card debit". Furthermore, the room was passed on directly. Now tonight we are without overnight accommodation for our flight tomorrow morning. Really absolute cheekiness. Accommodation definitely not recommended!!
