Hotel Merit

Only good things to say, considered we booked 16 hours in advance for only €20! Location is so central on a nice street, room was spacious and clean. They minded our bags before we checked in. Would recommend for shorter stays, like bagpacking. Tip: Reception is only manned after 1pm, before then you cannot contact the hotel.

Absolutely awful. no safety or privacy. lock on the door literally came out of the door as I inserted the key to open it. all conversations are borderline broadcast between rooms. questionable stains and cleanliness throughout. staff is extremely unhelpful. *am accustomed to traveling all over the world and in low-budget accomodations (for context)

I reserved through hotels.con which said the hotel had 24 hours reception. I arrived Past midnight and had to go to a different hotel , hotel Astoria to collect my key and walk again with my luggage alone. I complaint about not receiving those instructions and a random employee in Astoria hotel started shouting. When arriving again to the hotel the elevator didn’t worked. Worst Check in experience ever
