Mercure Hotel Stuttgart Boeblingen

The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed fine, but the pillows improved. The internet fails a lot (I was told there was no problem with wifi, but it is not going well at all, impossible to be connected more than 5 min in a row, the connection comes and goes - disastrous if you have to work). Right breakfast. The shower has very good pressure.

3 nights with a group of 16 people. the morning after the first dinner at the hotel, 6 people were sick... The manager tells us that the restaurant is checked every month (?!). the carpets in the common areas are dirty, there is still a smell. towels were not changed in several rooms; cleaning is not done every day in all rooms. The staff (understaffed; the waitress + the receptionist) of good will cannot correct the disaster!

We found a bug in the bath when we came into the room. The room was very hot though the temperature outside was nice. We could not connect to internet though we got 3 different wifi connections from the front desk. Apart from that the rooms were comfortable.
