Cafe Pension Feldbergblick

Visit from August 24, 2024. We were only there for cake and pastry, as I finally wanted to eat a real Black Forest cherry cake. The house is very nicely situated, and the café feels very rustic and traditional. We sat outside on the terrace and had a beautiful panoramic view. The original Black Forest cherry cake was truly very good: the cherry brandy was a bit of a revelation for me ;-) You could really taste it strongly in the cream. We also had another cake and were overall very satisfied. The prices were reasonable, the service friendly, and the restroom clean; so there was nothing to complain about. There is also a parking space available. The café is highly recommended.

Inn very comfortable, at the foot of the slopes, quiet. We had a large room with mountain views; sofa and refrigerator in the room. Great. Breakfasts are hearty. Evening meals served between 6 and 7 p.m. Only one downside: the translation of meals!

We went there just to rest for a while in the late afternoon, after a hike, with a slice of cake and a drink on the café terrace. The cake window is tempting and the portion of Black Forest and blueberry pie were succulent. We will try to come back to this place to taste other cakes before our return to France. CB ok. I recommend!
