We were able to enjoy 1 week. The room was great in terms of size. The food was absolutely good as always. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were able to relax wonderfully, despite the heat. We can only recommend the hotel.

Disappointed with the wellness concept, the pool is not designed for children and non-swimmers. Only saunas, and half of them are not functional. No steam room, no bubble bath, no jacuzzi. Finally, a poorly designed wellness area. Breakfast was nothing special, not up to the standard of breakfasts in the Black Forest. The all-inclusive service at lunch is miserable, 3 pastas and 3 hams. In the evening, you have to change hotels for dinner. And then it was a disaster, we ended up waiting from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM because of poor organization. The price is not worth the service provided.

I wanted to gift my in-laws an overnight stay for their 60th birthday from October 3rd to October 4th, so I contacted them by phone to get an offer and clarify a few questions about the booking. I was promised a callback within five minutes. After not hearing anything for over an hour and a half, I called again. After not hearing anything for over an hour and a half, I called again. Instead of a brief apology, I was informed in an annoyed and, from my perspective, very arrogant tone that it was currently check-in time. I can absolutely understand that it is busy – however, a friendly interaction with potential guests should still be a given. Unfortunately, the later callback went just as poorly. In conclusion, I was even reprimanded for a slip of the tongue ("recession" instead of "review"). I found that unnecessary and disrespectful. We immediately booked another hotel where we were kindly advised and received a booking confirmation right away. This is how I envision good service. Due to this experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. When the very first contact with potential guests is so unfriendly, annoyed, and arrogant, it leaves a bad impression and diminishes the anticipation for the stay.
