Eurohotel Guenzburg

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with our stay. We are waiting here, even though our room was not ready upon arrival. It is very annoying to simply have to wait after the journey instead of being able to move into the room as expected. For the price and the service offered, we would have expected significantly more. A hotel should be prepared for rooms to be ready for occupancy at the stated check-in time. Overall, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

The rooms are bare the beds way too low. And sag. Access road in the dark a disaster. In room not even a cup to drink water. The carpeting is very old. Mold in shower room . Everything needs renovation. The breakfast was ok but was poorly replenished Much was almost empty or lukewarm there had been a large group for us.

The reception was not necessarily cordial, the staff do not greet you, even if you greet first, for example at breakfast. The room is also large enough for three, the third sleeps on a pull-out chair, very hard but ok. Although there were three of us, we consistently only got 2 large towels every day, I had to pick one up at the reception every day. The carpet had stains, which probably cannot be fixed so quickly, a carpet with long fibers is not necessarily practical in a hotel. The shower was not properly cleaned inside (inside of the doors at the joints is yellow, lime stains on the fittings). The breakfast and also the parking is extra to pay, there is still a decent amount added on departure - I would pay closer attention next time. You can't park your car anywhere else but in this parking lot. Breakfast is manageable, it's basically all there, but the quality is not great. There is no fresh fruit whatsoever, only 3 types of canned fruit. For the 3 nights it was OK, the proximity to Legoland is great.
