Neither good, nor bad, somewhere in the middle. Rooms are not new, but rather okay, clean, a/c working good. The town itself is old with lots of history but pretty much faceless, the Danube reminds me a canal or a ditch full of water rather than a river, so the scenery is not good or interesting compared to the views from the roof of Carlton in Nuremberg, for example. The food during breakfast is in part prepared, in part natural, the majority of it is not tasty though. The plus might be coffee and bacon, however, the omelette is terrible, the vegetables consist of water and no taste whatsoever. Parking is also spacious and comfortable. Pricewise, it's more expensive than any Leonardo chain hotel but not worth it. To sum up, I would skip Ulm next time and rather stay in Nuremberg which has a least two considerably better hotels with a small price increase per night.
