Wohlfuhl-Hotel Neu Heidelberg

We stayed at the Wohlfühlhotel Neu-Heidelberg for a trip to the Kurpfalz region. We had a room facing the back with a balcony. The room was sufficiently large, the bathroom was even very spacious and apparently newly renovated. There is no minibar in the room, nor is there a coffee machine or electric kettle. Instead, there is a vending machine with fair prices centrally located in the hotel. The room was clean and very quiet; we slept wonderfully. The staff was friendly, so you felt welcome. Since our stay fell during the hot midsummer, we were a bit worried before arrival whether the room would be too overheated. But there was a positive surprise: Thanks to a sophisticated air conditioning system, we had exactly the preset 22 degrees in the room (with an outside temperature of well over 30 degrees) - and that without the annoying hum of an AC unit and without disturbing drafts. The hotel no longer has a restaurant. Only breakfast is served in the dining area. We found the buffet selection to be quite plentiful. Unfortunately, breakfast time ends at 9:30 a.m. on weekdays. Otherwise, the hotel is quite conveniently located. You can reach it quickly via the highway. Anyone who wants to visit the Heidelberg old town is well advised to take the tram for a few stops. The stop is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

Very quiet, clean, very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Good room decor, comfortable beds. Modern shower room.
