A "classic" Best Western, very close to the historic center. Covered parking available just three minutes on foot. The city center and the Fuggerei are easily reachable on foot, as are the main breweries in the city.

I stayed with family ( 2A 2 teens) at this hotel for 1 night in october as we were on a "romantic" road drive. I had booked a family room so we had 4 single beds. The room was HUGE. tons of space as you can see from the pictures. A small seating area but the sofa looks really old and I actually wonder how clean the upholstery is. As for the rest of the room, it's more or less clean , bathroom is decent. I can't ask for anything more from a best western for a 1 night stay. I didn't opt for breakfast so I can't comment on that. However I needed parking for 1 night which cost EUR15. There are only 5 spaces in front of the hotel. If there is none when you arrive ( if you drive) then you need to park at the indoor garage that is behind the hotel. Thankfully I found the last lot when I Drove in at about 4pm on a weekday. Reception was friendly and processed the check in really quick as everything was already prepaid. Parking is paid on check out. A non eventful stay which is what I need. Location wise it's pretty good. Augsburg CAthedral very very nearby. The MArket is opposite the hotel. NEXT to the hotel is a supermarket so if you're really hungry you can get stuff at the supermarket to eat. Opposite the road is a Coffee Fellows and a pastry shop called : Bäckerei CUMPANUM Augsburg Annastraße - André Heuck. there are other shops around. This hotel is just nice for a 1 or 2 nights stay if one needs a rest stop when driving to see small towns and castles so yes I recommend this place.

The BW Augusta absolutely needs a modernization it does not meet the standard of today's >150€ hotels. The Service at check-in was very friendly and the hotel is in a TOP location to the old town. The rooms are very spacious but not very welcoming with their ageing (decades?). The rooms are carpeted with a high floor that also serves as a skirting board (never seen before!). For one night that would still be OK but then it also massively hampers the cleanliness. Especially in the bathroom (see Fotelo) this was very uncomfortable to look at as the bath towels hung on a dusty heater. We'll skip breakfast.
