Columbia Hotel Bad Griesbach

The hotel is very conveniently located for golf vacationers and for visiting the Spa. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the restaurant is very good, if a bit expensive (E3.50 for a bottle of water). We found the management confusing - very generous at moments (lent me a gym bag and bathrobe for spa) and completely stingy at others (we stayed 3 nights in the most expensive room; they refused to extend checkout 2 hours to 2 p.m. 'unless we bought lunch in the restaurant.') The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, and while the hotel remains open, there is no one present who can make a decision or help guests beyond very basic requests. Internet access password was not posted in room, and we never did find out what it was - which was ok, because there seemed not to be wifi on top floor where we were.
