Amber Residenz Bavaria

My stay was not good. The hotel complex looked nice, with good amenities, but the room I got felt somewhat dirty, with a worn-out carpet and minimal decor. The bathroom looked modern, but the shower leaked water everywhere. It also had a door with an iron plate at the bottom, probably due to decay or poor repair, and a broken soap tray that maintenance taped up the next day after I reported it—another inadequate fix. I cut my finger on the tray, and I got a deep cut on my foot on the door, which required a Tetanus shot. The overall experience made my trip very uncomfortable. Additionally, one staff member was rude when I politely reported the issues and asked for a room change. I cannot recommend this hotel. There are many more attractive options nearby in Bad Reichenhall.

Everything perfect, very delicious breakfast, modern rooms, incredibly warm and friendly staff. It was a business trip, though—but so child-friendly. Really great! The wellness area is also perfect. The only thing missing is a lounging area on the lawn. But 100% nonetheless!

4 star hotel, single room very large with nice walk-in shower and modern furnishings. The hotel is already older but well preserved. Everything very clean. Very friendly staff. Underground parking costs extra, would be nice if included in the price. Breakfast rich and very good quality. I ate at the restaurant once, was very good. Wellness area not used as many children were there at the time. It was too loud. Conclusion good accommodation for a few days to discover Bad Reichenhall and surroundings.
