Golf Spa Hotel Tanneck

The hotel is embarrassing, to say the least, and its 4-star rating is completely baffling. The rooms lack air conditioning, featuring only a tiny fan. Breakfast is barely acceptable; they offer stale pastries and very little variety—and the food itself is even worse. The reception staff are rude and seem annoyed whenever you ask for information; money was stolen from me, yet the owner, Rebecca (I believe that’s her name), didn't bat an eye and didn't even apologize. The worst nightmare of my life. A terrible experience.

I am at the Tanneck as often as I can when I have business to attend to around Bad Wörishofen. I like the hotel because it has a nice wellness area and also a great outdoor pool. I always hope that the weather is right to be able to use it. This time it worked out. It was nice warm weather and I was able to swim and relax by the pool. I also went for a sauna session, so I had a wonderful afternoon/evening all around. The hotel provides you with a bathrobe free of charge. The room (I received a great upgrade) was huge. I thought it was awesome! Thank you very much. You are also served in a friendly manner at the reception. I would like to mention Mr. Joshua Becker here. Anyone who employs him as a staff member can only consider themselves lucky. You can tell that he loves his job. Authentic, friendly, attentive, and more. He always advocates for the guest! Thank you! Breakfast at the Tanneck is also very good; it has been renovated, and the dishes are now presented very nicely. The dinner, which I skipped this time, is also always very good at the Tanneck. I can highly recommend the hotel. The location on the outskirts of town is also good, very quiet and with good air. In front of and near the hotel there are a few free parking spaces, otherwise an underground parking space for 10 euros per day. So everything is great here, I will come back.

Overall great - great location, friendly and helpful staff, good selection of massages and daily activities, a beautifully designed wellness area open from 7 AM to 10 PM, good breakfast...:-)
