STEIGENBERGER HOTEL DER SONNENH

We already noticed last summer that things are going downhill a bit with the Sonnenhof. At breakfast, some plates were not cleared away, so the dishes piled up. And although I would have liked to be accommodated in an area without guests with dogs and was promised this in advance, a guest with a dog was then staying in the room directly opposite. Now the hotel is no longer a Steigenberger, and since there are further deteriorations (recently, for example, you can NO LONGER order anything to eat in the pool area, which is open until 9 PM), we will no longer travel there, although we visited the establishment regularly for years and appreciated it very much. The reception sells the changes as improvements, including the breakfast time shortened by one hour (which supposedly ensures better quality of the food - which is really ridiculous). But guests are not stupid and recognize very well what is getting better or worse. Very, very sad how the establishment has developed.

A beautiful, welcoming, and well-maintained hotel with great service staff and very delicious food. The pool area is wonderful and the rooms are very large. We liked it very much, thank you!

As always, it was a wonderful stay.
