Hotel Ertl

I was there for one night on a business trip. The reception was very friendly. The question about a restaurant was explained in great detail using a street map, that was great. My room was pleasantly furnished and very clean. For some reason, I found the breakfast for 15€ expensive. But everything was there. Vegetables, fruit, bread, rolls. Maybe it was the quite subjectively somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere in the breakfast room for me. But I would stay here again anytime!

We were from Saturday 17.5.2025 to Monday 19.5.2025 guest at the o.a. Hotel. After a friendly reception at the reception and a brief briefing in locations, breakfast times, etc., we moved into our Superior double room No. 25 on the 2nd floor. Apart from the furnishing of the oak bed and a rain shower, we could not detect a "superior". The water supply at the hand basin gave us only cold water, the TV in the sleeping area showed us no reception for the channels ARD,no BR,WDR,NDR,SW,RBB,One...The media library was thus also not reachable.After the problem was addressed....no remedy. The room itself was very dark and noisy and the wifi worked only partially. Since we were only with you for 2 nights, cleaning the room and changing the towels was not necessary.Nevertheless, in our absence, the room was entered, which is a violation of privacy for us. The breakfast was billed at 15 euros per person per day.For us as frequent travelers it was the worst breakfast we ever had. Packaged cold cuts (no fresh regional like Pressack, Leberkäs or similar), dried cheese could not convince us unfortunately.Unfortunately nothing was weighed after. Unfortunately, we have not noticed anything about the family hospitality and comfort offered on your website. The breakfast times should perhaps be reconsidered, because as a holiday guest you want to sleep until 8 am , then get ready and have breakfast. Mon-Fri 7-9 am and Sunday from 8-10 am is very sporty. The breakfast room was more like a conference room, too.You don't break a serpentine bone to put some flowers on the table on a Sunday, do you? We are very disappointed. Perhaps the owner Mr. Ertl himself should once stay in a hotel and perceive and compare the differences to his hotel. Then a price/performance ratio would also be fair. At check-out we were also not asked if we were satisfied with everything, just a : Ah, you want to get rid of your money now" came from the lady behind the counter. Like I said, professional is different. It's too bad.

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable family-owned hotel. They were so kind and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a real treat. Our rooms were very comfortable. We could not have been happier. We were in town for a family wedding, and our extended family basically took over the whole hotel. We all had a great time.
