I had checked with the hotel about my gluten intolerance before starting my trip and received the answer from the boss that they could offer me gluten-free food. For breakfast I would get extra gluten-free bread/buns and for dinner I would only have to write "gluten-free" for the main course I chose. Then the kitchen would e.g. bind the sauce only with corn starch or roast meat naturally etc.
The rolls or bread were actually in my place every morning. Dinner (meat natural, for me with herbal butter) was on the 1st. Hello, too. Dinner on Feb. Evening wasn't okay. Although they had replaced the tagliatelle with potatoes, the sauce was certainly not gluten-free. Unfortunately, this meal did not stay with me. What stunned me, however, was that the chef had the receptionist tell me that he had prepared the gluten-free food properly himself and had also arranged it on the plate himself. Everything would have been fine with that. So I imagined everything????? The rest of the days everything worked out.
The quality of the food sometimes left something to be desired (e.g. dry schnitzel).
I also agree with other reviews regarding the tightness in the toilet and bathroom. The rooms were always clean. The staff were always friendly.
I can not recommend this place for people with celiac disease. When you promise something, you have to keep it. After all, it's about being able to spend a "relaxed" holiday.

First of all, we cannot understand/confirm the negative reviews.
We were from 17.08-23.08.2025 with a tour group in the hotel and can only write the hotel is conveniently located. We had a room on the second floor and that was facing the street or parking lot, but this was not really bothersome. What would have been good if fly screens were attached to the windows or balcony door, because then we would have had more relaxing nights without "mosquito terror" and broken body parts.
The half board was really excellent and everyone found something without starving, also the Service was excellent and also very friendly considering that a second tour group was there and of course other guests.
Very nice we felt the Bavarian evening buffet.
As already described, with fly screen in front of the windows there would have been the full score.

Friendly staff, all clean, nice view of the Watzmann, but unfortunately there is a lot to complain about. No water or glass in the room, you have to get a second pillow first, thin blanket, towels too small in the narrow bathroom. Wi-Fi works.
At breakfast industrial rolls, no coffee machine, only filter coffee. Cappuccino costs extra and then 3.70 euros. Lush buffet, but all cheap goods and unsustainable packaging.
At dinner good soup and salad buffet in half board. Main course partly not edible, e.g. boiled pasta with flour sweat should be spaghetti carbonara. Potato porridge made of powder, canned mushrooms - all rather the worst canteen food. No Bavarian cuisine. Dessert very fluctuating, especially twitchy.
The whole hotel rather musty and quite from the day before yesterday, urgently needs to modernize. Reception only starts at 8 am in the morning and you can only bill for earlier departures the night before.
