The hotel is located in the middle of Dinkelsbühl on a lively street. At night, however, quiet. Nice staircase with very slow elevator. Room small with single beds, older furniture, but fine.In the attic with slope, tall people might get into trouble. Windows a bit drafty. Bath small, but everything there. Very clean. Pillow and duvet take some getting used to. Restaurant cozy and lovingly decorated. Breakfast corner with buffet fat very small but everything there you need. From fresh fruit, to cold cuts, cereal, yogurt, bread, rolls, coffee, tea and, on request, scrambled eggs/fried eggs. However, the Italian cuisine in the evening was disappointing. The vegetable lasagne consisted of cheese, cheese, olives and even more olives, two tiny pieces of artichoke, three mini tomatoes and two small, hard pieces of eggplant. The pizza tasted like cardboard, the ingredients unkindly distributed without spice on the pizza and here again.... Olives in quantities compared to other ingredients. The staff very attentive, nice and friendly. There are no private parking spaces, but public ones are within walking distance.

Got a spot on Advent Sunday with a lot of luck. Absolutely nice restaurant experience. Cosy-modern-tasteful ambience, very friendly staff and extremely delicious food. Recommended from the heart.

Somehow Speltbühl was quite booked up or priceless. That's why only Piazza remained in the end in a central location. That's when I thought: Which hotel in a Bavarian old town is already called Piazza? I don't think that's gonna be anything. That was a very big mistake: Everything went pretty well in advance. We actually needed two single beds: There were no more. In any case, the reaction was very flexible: You get a room with a fold-out sofa and we fix that up and then we solved the problem. I was also worried about the 9:00 p.m. closing time in the restaurant. But I was only told that I could take my time and they would be there longer to finish everything. I'm supposed to just call and let them know when my arrival is foreseeable, and then they'll find a way. When we arrived we were lucky: Opposite was a parking space available and we could stop here until departure and only had to pay something the next morning. Even if the hotel is called Piazza, Bavarian hospitality awaited us. Even a modern elevator that was integrated into a historic wall and went so slowly that the house was not shaken. The room was very nice and modern. In the bathroom there was even a trash can that "floated" above the floor so that the maid could wipe underneath without lifting the trash can. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Finally, a fruit salad that didn't come from Transgourmet, but was probably freshly prepared. If it goes to Dinkesbühl again, we will definitely like to come back here.
