Located near mountains in a lovely quiet residential area this Hotel made for a great stay on a work trip
After travelling from Munich in a heatwave myself and a colleague attempted to get an UBER to the hotel from the station with no success. Not wanting any more sun today let alone walking in it with luggage we managed to get a taxi through another app (so I’d recommend skipping to that rather than wait ten minutes for uber to time our!)
A very short ride got us to the hotel and we were welcomed in and checked in promptly having pre advised our approx arrival time
Tea and coffee facilities were located in the foyer with a pot of fresh coffee, instant and a good assortment of fruit and other teas
My room on the first floor was at the corner with both French doors and a window which made for nice air flow and was light and bright
The rustic styling suited and clearly a good deal of though has gone into the quirky little touches around the hotel and the rooms
I really liked the design of the entrance which had shelving, storage, a safe, drawers etc directly in the room entrance with the the bathroom off to one side. The bathroom was nicely set out, compact but plenty big enough for its function
(I would recommend taking a travel iron or steamer though as there weren’t any in room facilities - thigh fortunately I was allowed to use the laundry room to iron some trousers and shirts - else it would have been a very crumply few days work)
I slept well all nights with no real noise or light issues from anywhere
I don’t think I used the tv or anything but there was one in the corner
I tended to sit out on my balcony on the table and chairs with a tea and do some work/ catch up on personal things
Breakfast was the same each day with an assortment of cold
Items; meats, cheeses and freshly baked rolls alongside items like eggs, yogurts etc
Plenty ample and typically German, and I enjoyed it each and every day alongside a nice fresh pot of coffee to get the day going
For our purposes it would have been great if it was a half hour earlier to start as it was a bit neat to get out and down to where we needed to for work, but for what I think would likely be a predominantly tourist based clientele it’s probably perfect
Overall a wonderful place to stay, family owned and operated, with clean, tidy and thoughtfully furnished rooms. I would recommend it for a few days in the area and/ or as a lovely place to stay and day trip out from

We looked for a place to stay in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a week, in a large, well-equipped room.
We found the hotel based on recommendations on various sites and made an order.
Since the hotel itself was fully booked at the end of the week due to an annual BMW conference we received a residential unit nearby, on the central route of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
After the registration at the hotel the girl who registered us directed us with the car to the apartment and at the same time went there independently.
She showed us the apartment that was neat and clean.
The apartment includes
A well-equipped bedroom with a large wardrobe
Bathroom with large, comfortable shower and toilet
Large living room with an exit out to the garden and two nice seating areas
A fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, percolator, kettle, cutlery, etc.)
The location of the apartment on the main road means accessibility, quick exit in any direction.
To reach the center of Garmisch's life in the pedestrian mall, 10 minutes walk (200 meters on the sidewalk and then a pedestrian path to the entrance to the central area)
During the week we had absolute privacy and quiet. When we wanted to help print a document, we arrived at the hotel during the reception hours and were glad to help us.
A very positive experience, we enjoyed !!!

This is a lovely place to stay , it’s about 10 minutes out of town walk, it’s about 10 minutes get to the ski lift, it’s a quiet location, and the breakfast is lovely ...the staff friendly. The only downfall for me was that the beds were really noisy, and the pillows flat.... hotel invested in some new pillows and some beds( they were comfy, just noisy) I would say it was 4 star but I think this lets it down .... we all want a good night sleep 😴
