we booked the apartment 2 months before new year through booking.com the Hosts contacted us via email and asked to cancel the booking on the website booking.com in order to make a deal directly. We received a confirmation of arrival on January 1, 2019. On December 30, 2018, I called the hotel to make sure we were expected and our room would be ready on time. However, what I heard in response shocked me. Our room has already been sold to someone else and they no longer have rooms available. Offered to live in their basement. Thank God I found another accommodation option on booking.com and we were able to check into another hotel. I received nothing but an apology in the mail from the owners. It is just a hoax and a fraud!

Where to start. First, if you have pets, AVOID at all costs. The owner lied and said our dogs barked for 7 hours. We were there for at least 2 of those so I know she lied. She claimed that other residents were leaving early because of the noise. However, we asked all of the other residents and they all said that the dogs didn't even bother them. She then threatened us and said if we left them alone in the apartment she would let them into the street. Yes, she really said that and more than once. When given the chance to clarify, she said, "If they bark again and you are not home, I will open all of the doors and let them into the street". We've traveled all over Europe with our dogs and this is the very first complaint so we are hesitant to believe her. Also, who threatens to lose or kill someone's pets? What is the point of getting a pet room if they don't allow pets? Very strange policy. Also, for some antiquated reason, they charge 5 euro per device for wi-fi. And it won't even work! But good luck getting a refund. All the other residents complained of this...but not our dogs. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in booking lodging!

This is one of the best place to stay in Garmisch to go skiing. You are a 3 minutes walk away from the slop. The apartment was very spacious (number 5), clean and the kitchen allows you to cook almost all what you want. The balcony is large and even in winter you can enjoy it. It is very quiet. The only negative issue was that the owners sent someone to repair some small things in our apartment without telling us when he will come and for how long. So he came when we were not there and the owner just enter into the apartment without even creating my parents or asking if it was ok. afterwards we found the key of our apartments on the stairs and anyone could have come. (You need a key to enter the main entrance, but still we didn't appreciate it).
