First of all: The location on the Adersberg and the view from there of Lake Chiemsee are unique. The hotel itself, however, seems as if it is in transition — somehow a bit indecisive and unfinished. A spirited renovation would do it good. The rooms are very spacious and probably all have large balconies, but the furnishings overall — be it the carpeting, the sofas, or the built-in furniture — seem somehow cheap, loveless, and a bit dated. This is especially true for the tiny bathroom with a somewhat unappetizing shower curtain and the chipped toilet seat (that is just not okay!). The somewhat mixed impression continues outside; there is an outdoor pool, but it is simply built into the bare landscape, no shade, no tree, no shrub around it. All of that would be less of a complaint if a double room (incl. breakfast) did not cost over 220 euros (!!). That is simply too much for what is offered.

Warmly personal and at the same time unobtrusive, the truly " mountain hotel " is run at the end of a narrow mountain access road in the middle of wide hiking area called hotel like restaurant . Spacious terrace in front of the house and cozy tables on the balcony , whether for breakfast , whether for coffee / tea with cakes and cakes . Far the view down to Lake Chiemsee surrounded by green forested mountains . Best cuisine - whether from the small but varied afternoon menu , whether chosen from the evening menu valid from 5.30 - 8 pm . Great breakfast buffet and spacious hotel rooms with wide balconies. Our 2 days were like holiday recreation .

we spent a few days. Terrible, slanderous hotel. Dirty, cold rooms on arrival and smell of food. In the evening or late afternoon, not even a light outside, all dark. We had to go out with a phone torch. Few guests, avoid it! Parking on the mud. Luckily we never ate. Sauna with closed door smells of mold. Expensive for nothing.
