The rooms are very exposed since they are located across from another hotel building, which we did not like. Privacy is not provided here, unless I close the curtains, but then I have no natural light in the room. The rooms are also extremely small; a stay for two in the bathroom or even in the room is almost impossible. For your information: I stayed in the Geigelstein building.
The food was very good, and the service was mostly good too! A very large establishment, with a lot of turnover in between, and a great many short-term vacationers! It lacks a personal touch!
The establishment is recommended for a short vacation, but not for a longer stay.
Point of criticism: there were no e-bikes with a step-through frame available to rent, only mountain bikes, which was a real shame! We had to look elsewhere for a rental bicycle!
There was also no garage/no lockable room for the bicycles we brought with us!
Extremely high prices for drinks.
The absolute dealbreaker was that after spending over €700.00 at the associated Chiemgauhof, we were still expected to pay an extra €15.00 for parking! That is truly an outrage!
