Hotel Condor

The AC in the room could not be switched off and the staff there didn’t know where the switch or the remote to turn the AC OFF was and further told that I’ll have to figure out how to sleep through the cold! Even after given 2 hours to somehow figure out how to turn off I was met with the same answer!!

Clean and comfortable room, well heated so nice and warm in this cold weather. Convenient location close to the centre and to both coach and central train station. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

Absolutely disappointing! I was in contact with Hotels.com – I would have been granted an exemption there, just lacking the hotel’s consent. But the Hotel Condor Munich refused and was apparently pleased with the “gifted money” instead. As a reminder: I tried to cancel on 17.08. several times (technically not possible, hotel not reachable). By August 18, it was already too late – and the hotel showed zero accommodation. Especially bitter: On August 16th my brother passed away. I shared this with the hotel – yet no trace of empathy or humanity. Conclusion: A hotel that treats its guests like this, only looks at profit and rejects all goodwill is unacceptable to me. Never again Hotel Condor Munich!
