Hotel Mons am Goetheplatz

I would not describe this as a hotel. It is an office block, no staff, just notices about how to get your key. Concrete floors, narrow corridors, narrow lift. The room was clean and pleasant but this is a concrete box, not a hotel. Why is it called a hotel?

Loved staying here! Nice room with the ability to open the windows. Black out curtains. Great shower. Close to the train station, Paulaner brewery, supermarket and laundry. 20 minute walk to old town, or 1 minute walk to train station and 4 minute train. No staff on site 24/7 but staff are around in the morning and if you need something they are extremely responsive to emails. We really enjoyed staying here. Great price for Munich.

10-min straight beeline walk from main train station, cafe, supermarket & pharmacy by front door. Wonderfully sleek & modern rooms, maintained in tiptop shape, care given to every detail. Hairdryer & TV in room. Well-organised check-in procedure. Perfect for city getaway.
