Hotel Perlach

The hotel itself was OK, with cleanish, comfortable-ish rooms, a friendly staff, complimentary Wi-Fi (when it worked) and an above average breakfast buffet. Noise from the attached restaurant can be an issue, especially Friday and Saturday nights. The major negative was the deceptiveness of the website, which implied that breakfast was included if you booked directly with the hotel. Well, it isn't. Because we were tricked into having the "included" hotel breakfast, we didn't get our own from the nearby grocery store and bakery. When we checked out, we were presented with a surprise bill of over EUR 150 more than we expected. After some discussion, it was decided our small child deserved the "Child" rate of EUR 7 instead of EUR 11. We still ended up getting charged nearly EUR 120 extra,rating it as a significant rip-off. In summary, Hotel Perlach is sleepable and in a nice neighborhood. But beware the hidden charges, and assume EVERYTHING will cost you extra.

Unbelievable, a very nice small city hotel! Clean, friendly, the prices are very competitive, the connection to city centre is just outside the door. I will for sure bookmark this for future stays! The rooms are not big but well planned and the bathroom is very nice.

Nice room and very efficient staff. WiFi was free and of OK quality. Breakfast was basic German style (bread with choice sweet and savory) but good. Good value for money and not too far away from the city center by metro and bus. Supermarket nearby. No restaurant facilities at the hotel, which forces you to go outside. There are nearby restaurants but of quite average quality, since it is not in a fancy area.
