Mercure Munchen City Center

The hotel is very close to the central station, a short walk of no more than 5 minutes. This makes it much easier for those who will use the train. In addition, it is a 15-minute walk from the Rathaus, the main tourist spot in the old city. Hearty and very good breakfast with options for all tastes. We had a problem with the TV and promptly the attendant at the reception solved it. A plus that is worth a lot is the minibar with some free products. Water, beer and juice that are replenished every day. Not to say that I didn't find anything bad, the bedroom curtain didn't seal very well and let light pass in the morning. Also the bathroom box is almost all open and ends up wetting the entire floor during the bath. And finally, the lack of gym is a problem for those who like to exercise. Otherwise, very good option. One standard above most Mercures.

I stayed here for two nights on way to a family wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My standard room was large, comfortable and quiet, overlooking a beer garden. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, especially restaurant and housekeeping. Arriving at nearly midnight on the first evening the mini bar with its complimentary water and beer were a fabulous start to my two days in Munich!!!

The stay didn’t start very well. The receptionist was not especially talkative and we received no information. Rooms were big and clean. The problem, however, was the air conditioning system that did not work very well. We had to keep the window up at night. When we had rooms facing the street, there was a lot of noise. The hotel, however, has a very central location. Parking right next to the hotel is a plus. Good breakfast.
