TOP HOTEL SENATOR MUNICH

The hotel is well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are several points of attention: at breakfast the food runs out and is not repaired, after the elevator there are stairs to get to the rooms making it difficult to access. There is no air conditioning and in the summer it becomes uncomfortable. The doors of the rooms are very heavy and the children can't open. The showers stay inside the tubs, being bad for the elderly. I believe the building is very old and needs to adapt to the new times.

The Europe Senator Hotel is a good place to stay if you are ever visiting Munich. It is a good hotel if you do not want to spend a lot of money. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are really clean and tidy. The bathroom in our room was very clean and the shower worked well. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, so they can get a little warm, but there is a fan in each room and these work well. You can also open the balcony window/door. The only downside to the rooms are the beds, the mattresses are really soft and the pillows are flat. If you like a soft mattress then this is not a problem. The breakfast is a good buffet style continental version. There is plenty of choice of cereal, bread and meat and cheese. They also do scrambled and boiled eggs and sausages and bacon on alternate mornings. There is a choice of teas too, the coffee is very strong and they also have yoghurt and juice. There is air conditioning in the Dining Room, this makes it more comfortable. There is also a little bar area for late night drinks. Overall the Europe Senator is a good hotel about a twenty minute walk from Munich Central Station. You can also catch the tram from the station to near the hotel.

Hotel in need of an upgrade for the rooms. Wasnt very clean and the bathroom was very old fashioned with rust stains on the tiles. The bed was way too uncomfortable and felt like a waterbed it was so soft. Staff seemed pleasent and the Breakfast was just okay but again downstairs and reception area could do with modernisation. About 20 mins walk from main train station and not far from Metro.
