Unfortunately, this time it was miserably cleaned, so that you had to chew on the inner vascular lump (medically kidney cells or glomeruli). This was not a treat and half the plate was uneaten. In the kettle meat a lot of hard liver, the Kren without sharpness. With high (organic) prices, this must not happen.

Fantastic Slow Food restaurant close to Munich, next to Autobahn A9. Very friendly service, open kitchen and very intersting menues, lunked to traditional bavarian kitchen. Nice traditional atmosphere and a good Bio Hotel. Worth a stop or stay!

I visited this hotel for a business seminar that happened to end on Valentine’s Day. I loved the hotel and slept very well in the room made entirely of wood. The food during the seminar was also really good. I decided I wanted to try out the full menu so my wife joined me for dinner. She had Seeteufel (monk fish) and I had a traditional steak with roasted onions (Zwiebelrostbraten). Both dishes were excellent and we had a really good time. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the atmosphere. The lights were too bright and the room a little too big to be intimate. I’d go back though and ask to be placed in the Stube. That’s a bit smaller and more traditional.
