Zum Spitzbuam

We spent 8 days there with our 2 years old child. Very friendly stuff and delicious food! Price of room and food is fair. Near to the Munich airport (20km), free wifi and parking. Typical european hotel.

I gave a helpful vote to the previous reviewer (BerndHelge) because he captured everything very well and I agree with his descriptions Some further comments from my side : - internet WiFi is actually quite fast - the place is OK if you are on business - the restaurant food is OK. There are some healthy options on the menu - there is some good walking on the local (paved) roads - so if you want to walk for 1 hour after work prior to dinner you can easily do so from the hotel - I paid 52 Euro for a single room including breakfast and considered it a very good price/quality ration - the 30 minutes drive from the airport makes this a good choice for saving some money if you have a rental and need to return it only in the morning - the folks at this place are quite friendly

I stayed at Hotel zum Spitzbuam last week and was very surprised by the hospitality and the friendliness of everyone there. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is big and one is pampered with a personal breakfast selection on the table. The rooms are clean and the free WLAN (even in the breakfast room) is a very nice add on. I had booked 3 nights but then prolonged 3 more nights because I did not want to move somewhere else for the rest of my stay. I will definitely come back when I return to Munich.
