Hotel Ammerland

We were here for the triathlon in Ingolstadt. The hotel is a true gem for us and rewarded us with great friendliness, wonderful rooms, and an excellent breakfast for the upcoming athletic events. We found it very cozy, very relaxing, and everything was very detail-oriented. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is absolutely well-equipped, and everything was just right. We would gladly come back anytime.

We stayed for a weekend at the BLOCK Hotel & Living in Ingolstadt. The location is quiet, the building modern and the reception friendly. The check-in was straightforward, thanks to online form, and the staff was consistently helpful and courteous. Positively noteworthy: • Breakfast was outstanding! Wide selection, many homemade products (granola, salads, jams), even dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn. • The breakfast room and lounge with fireplace and bar are stylish and cosy. • The bar offers creative cocktails and delicious coffee with cake – very pleasant. What was less convincing: • Our room was very warm, the air conditioning was running permanently. Windows could hardly be opened, view was disappointing. • Wellness area small (only 6 sunbeds, mini saunas). • Some hygiene products (shower gel, soap, toilet paper) were not regularly refilled. • Underground parking very narrow and difficult to maneuver. Conclusion: Great breakfast and friendly service, but room comfort and wellness offer could not quite offset that. We booked the hotel a few minutes before arrival from the motorway as we were passing through and wanted to stop spontaneously in Ingolstadt. The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained, the rooms extremely clean and individually decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was great and very lovingly designed. The situation varies greatly depending on what you want to or plan to Enterprise. It is very quiet despite the proximity to the highway. However, if you want to go to the old town, you have to walk quite far or drive by car. By bus you can get there lt. Reception not so good to the city. If I had rated the hotel as a couple only with the glasses, it would have gotten the full score as the Price quality ratio is fine. Having a child, however, has been outrageously expensive, which we found a shame. We had to book another room, which drove up the price a lot. Therefore, as a family we would not book the hotel again, but as a couple we would.
