Hotel-Ferienhaus-Metzgerei Rosslwirt

Unfortunately a big disappointment We had booked a 3-star superior hotel at the Rösslwirt in Lam, but were moved to a separate vacation home without prior notice. A very small room with an old, cramped bathroom awaited us there – in our view, by no means the standard we would have expected from a booked 3-star superior hotel. Our arrival was particularly disappointing: There was no one on site and no one could be reached at the provided landline number. We had to spend about 45 minutes making phone calls and searching until someone was finally able to open the accommodation for us. Even for breakfast, we first had to walk down the street to another building. Unfortunately, they were prepared neither for an amicable solution nor for any corresponding insight. Overall, the actual accommodation did not correspond to what we had booked and expected. Very disappointing and unfortunately not a recommendation.

We spent two nights at this hotel. The only plus point of this hotel was the nice and clean room. Otherwise, we were very disappointed. The breakfast was very simple and the selection extremely limited. Although there were cups and a kettle in the room, there was neither coffee nor tea. The staff was also unfortunately not friendly or service-oriented. At check-in, we paid for the LAM card and were told that we would receive it the next day. But even the next day, it was not handed over to us. As a result, we could use neither the swimming pool nor public transportation. At check-out, we were not refunded the money for the card. Instead, they offered to print the card only then – at departure, when it was of no use to us anymore. Our booking also included a welcome gift with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit at the reception. When we asked about the Prosecco, the staff reacted visibly annoyed. As for fruit, there were only a few apples at the reception. Overall, this hotel in no way meets our expectations. We will definitely not return and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

Much too expensive, a variety of room categories obscures the size, breakfast is not recommended. In general, one is bombarded with poorly made signs or rather prohibition signs, unfriendly tone at the reception, the only bright spot: the staff is helpful and friendly.
